On January 14, 2024, Asis-kai members gathered at the apremont golf course for our association’s 227 tournament.

We were lucky in that, despite an unfavorable weather forecast, the temperature was no obstacle to the smooth running of the competition. We played on winter greens and the course was in excellent condition.  I’d like to thank my partners, Ando-san, Suzuki-san and Yamashita-san, who are indeed my best partners. I’d like to congratulate Suzuki-san, who is very consistent and played -1 for the day.

I’m proud to have won this 227 edition, which is good news for me, but unfortunately my new handicap is 13, which means I’ll have to improve.

I salute Ninomiya-san who is leaving the Japanese Embassy in France to go to Vietnam.

I hope to see many of you at the annual Asis-kai dinner on January 19, 2024.
